Neoen acknowledges the Anaiwan people, Traditional Owners of the land on which Eathorpe Battery will store energy. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

SCOPING REPORT AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT

Eathorpe Battery is classified as a State Significant Development (SSD). The first report, called the Scoping Report, has been submitted to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) in October 2022.
NSW DPE has issued a list of all the requirements that Neoen and specialist consultants must address to inform the next stage – the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed battery project. These requirements are called Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs).

The Scoping Report and SEARs are available HERE.
